The Comparison and Enlightenment of International Experiences in Commercial Banks Governance

Overseas' commercial bank governance models can be classified as : American and British style,Asian family model and transforming economy governance model.The governance practices in developed countries prove that: the development trend of modern commercial bank governance is the mix of American and British models,and German and Japanese models.The source of ineffectiveness of some Asian areas and banks in transforming economy countries is due to the serious information asymmetric between banks and micro economy system and the strong influence to the banks from the government.From the experiences of some developed counties and the study of some transforming countries,the optimization of governance of banks is not constrained in governmental behavior,the way of monitoring,optimization of law system,but also reform of initial design of property right,and the problem whether property right can be traded continually with a low cost.
