Clear up the Six Misconceptions in the Economic Development of West China

The development of western region of China is an important decision by the central government, which concerns further development of our state economy and to which great importance should be attached strategically. Therefore, it is necessary that we clear up six misconceptions in the development of western regions, pursue a long-term development based on the overall situation, decrease repitition of construction and take a new approach to developing the western regions. In addition, attention should be focused on utilization of intangible asset and on testing of social indexes to ensure the development as planned.
