| Abstract: | Ⅰ. Two Stories about Female Soldiers Back From Iraq Plappert, 47, said she was raped by Iraqi men in 2003 at a store in Hillah, when she got separated from her group. By the time the Navy Re-serves commander returned home, she felt like she was numb. I didn't feel anything, she said during an interview at her town home in south-central Pennsylvania. When her kids, now ages 10 and 12, hugged her, I felt like I was being suffocated. |
