| 摘 要： | "文明"是现代汉语中尤其是政论文体中的常用词,其意义不完全等同于英语的civilization。最近三次党代会文献中"文明"的翻译不仅体现了译语的与时俱进、准确贴切,符合英语的表达习惯,更反映了译语的丰富多样和质量的逐步提升。

| Abstract: | Wenming(civilization) is a commonly applied word in modern Chinese,especially in style of politics.Its connotation does not completely correspond to that of civilization in English.The translation of civilization in the latest three National Congress Reports of CPC reveals that its translation can keep up with the times,being concise and appropriate,and has been greatly improved. |
