| Abstract: | The wide acceptance of communicative approach in teaching has resulted in the doubting and abandoning of the trad itional grammar-translation method.This paper d iscusses the problems in application and suggests the combination of communicative approach and grammar-translation method through an analysis of the problems in college English teaching ofX injiang context. |
