试论儒家的诚信及其现代价值

诚信是以孔子为代表的儒家伦理规范中最重要的范畴,也是我们祖先遗留下来的优秀道德传统。要坚持诚信观念,就要处理好义与利的关系。在义与利的问题上,孔子虽然主张追求富贵是人共同的本性,但又认为人在追求富贵时,应遵守道义的原则。这些思想在市场经济的今天仍具有现代价值和生命力。

On Confucian Credit and Reference Value

Honesty" or "Credit" is the most important concept of the ethic criterion in Confucianism,which are also the excellent moral legaly handed over by Chinese ancestor. To stand by this idea, the relationship between the benefit and the justice should be dealt with carefully. For this, Confucius claims that it is human's common nature to pursue rich and honor; however, he still believs that people should obey the principle of morality and justice. Under the market economy, these ideas still have their modern vitality and value.
