6月23日,第一届李德伦全国指挥比赛在青岛落幕。这次比赛对每—位参赛选手来说．既是一次难得的机遇，也是一次巨大的挑战。第一届李德伦全国指挥比赛是音乐指挥领域的国家级最高赛事，也是中国第一个以音乐家名字命名的国家级指挥比赛。在其背后．是中国著名指挥大师李德伦与青岛的不解之缘。

Story behind the First Li Delun National

On June 23, 2012, the First Li Delun National Conductor Competition came to close in Qingdao. This is the first national conducting competition named after a conductor, and the story behind it is Qingdao’s inseparable relationship with Li Delun, a famous Chinese conductor. In the early years of the 20th century, Qingdao had contacted with western music and many musical talents came to prominence. Nevertheless, Qingdao did not have its own orchestra until the 1990s. In the spring of 1994, at the invitation of the music lovers in Qingdao, Li Delun came to Qingdao for the first time. He wrote a letter to then Secretary of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee Yu Zhengsheng and suggested establishing an orchestra. The present-day Qingdao Orchestra has been re-organized on the foundation of that orchestra. Li Delun, who is honored as the "Father of Chinese Symphony," acted as the artistic advisor of this newborn local orchestra. Four years later, despite his advancing years, Li Delun came to Qingdao again to instruct the orchestra and gave lectures on the symphony for the citizens and college students, thus training created groups of aficionados of classical music in Qingdao. Even at the end of his life, Li Delun still cared about the orchestra in Qingdao.
