| Abstract: | Material Flow Accounting （MFA） is key issue in sustainable development research field. As a basic method for measuring the quantity of materials entering and leaving the economic system, MFA has made rapid progress in recent years in developed coutries while it has been just introduced to China for several years. In order to promote MFA study and practice in civil by learning from abroad, this article focuses attention first on introducing the basic concept, then on discussing the main problems and limitations of MFA, finally gives some advice about MFA further research. |
