Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is an important capital operation mode to enhance the competiti- veness of enterprises. With increased awareness of protecting intellectual property rights,intellectual property has become one of the most important factors in the M&A decision-making. Intellectual property appraisals contribute to risk aversion, carrying out the M&A plans and reaching M&A targets.Taking patent as an example, we show the content and process of Intellectual property appraisals in M&A to provide reference for intellectual property appraisal services in M&A in the future.
