| 摘 要： | 利用西部地区1992-2009年的面板数据，基于Malmquist指数法，考察了西部大开发战略实施前后各地区全要素生产率的变化。结果表明：大开发战略的实施使得西部地区全要素生产率的增长总体上由负值（-0.8%）转为正值（7%），全要素生产率对经济增长的贡献由-8.8%提高到14.3%，对东部地区的追赶效应明显，但仍存在较大差距。

| Abstract: | Using the Malmquist productivity index , we have analyzed the total factor productivity change ( TFP-Ch ) from the perspective of the western region development strategy based on the panel data from 1992 to 2009.The study finds that , TFP growth rate of western region form -0.8% during the period of 1992～2000 up to 1.7% during the period of 2001-2009 , and the TFP affects significantly on economic growth from -8.8% to 14.3% after the western region development strategy implementation. |
