| Abstract: | The TV serials, Romance of Our Parents, aired on CCTV, tells a love story of a couple who supported each other and lived together happily for 50 years though they were from different family backgrounds and different in living habits. The play presents harmonious relationships between people and those between man ＆ nature. It is of warning significance against the background of today＇s material-oriented society where the moral degeneration is getting worse day by day and interpersonal relationships are often utilitarian and fair weather friends abound. |
