The Influence of RMB Exchange Rate Fluctuation on Heilongjiang Foreign Trade

In the context of RMB appreciation,trade development in Heilongjiang presents incomplete consistency with the explanation of traditional trade theory.In detail,RMB appreciation has apparently restrained the exports;the imports have realized rapid growth in real terms.Now the development of Heilongjiang foreign trade and economic cooperation are facing enormous challenges bringing by the external economic environment in terms of increasing international trade protectionism,intensified business operating pressure,and poor foreign investment utilization quality.In order to promote a sustainable and healthy foreign trade development,Heilongjiang government need to pay equal attention to imports and exports,optimize the import and export patterns,improve the competitive power in absorbing foreign investment,and innovate the ways of using foreign capital.
