Abstract: | This article discusses methodological approaches to forecasting the development of the electric-power industry for a given scenario of growth in electricity demands under functioning commodity and stock markets. A dynamic economic and mathematical model is presented, in which profit determines the efficiency and scope of investment in various technologies of electric-power generation, equilibrium price of electricity in the commodity market, and the market price of fixed assets (capitalization) in the stock market. We assess the impact of a possible increase in the prices of nuclear fuel on the development prospects of nuclear energy up to 2030. |
