摘    要:公众演讲具有一定的时代性、社会性和鼓动性。本文旨在以评价理论为框架,从积极话语分析角度出发,分析“级差”在《潘基文·南京大学演讲》语篇分析中所起的作用,具体探究发言者在演讲中是如何使用评价资源来表明自己的立场、观点和态度的,从而阐释积极话语分析的社会意义。

Abstract:This thesis uses appraisal theory which it claims that the language a person uses describes both his stances towards the issues he discusses and the person with whom he communicate (Martin&White,2005:1) . It is worth mentioning that a key property of all attitudinal meanings is their gradability. To explore how to use the appraisal of resources and the results of the speaker in the speech, announce their positions, opinions, to interpret the meaning of positive discourse analysis.
