让文化参与设计——记非洲联合馆公共部分设计

世博会非洲联合馆设计至始至终坚持二个基本宗旨:合理布局平面功能和面积配比,设置有利于参观和疏散的流线,最大限度的满足功能需求;空间形象和造型特点上从设计伊始就本着对非洲历史和文化的理解和尊重,一方面重视展现非洲的自然,生态,文化,艺术,经济等元素,另一方面又要把这种文化和地域特点通过非常形象的语言进行浓缩和提炼,展现非洲最本质的特征。

Applying Culture to the Desk:To Note the Design of the Public Part of Africa Pavilion

The design of Africa Pavilion in Expo persists in two basic purposes: rationally distributing surface features and area ratio,setting the flow line that conducive to the visits and evacuation,and satisfying the functional requirements;understanding and respecting the African history and culture in space image and shape features from the beginning,on the one hand paying attention to Africa's nature,ecology,culture,art,economy and other elements,on the other hand,concentrating and refining the cultural and geographical features with very figurative language to show Africa's most essential features.
