Abstract: | The increasing proliferation of electronic media and sophisticated communications virtually ensures that we will be inundated with a sea of information. Management of that information — processing, storing, retrieving, and transmitting it — will be our most formidable challenge. The office, as the hub of an organization, is where decisions and policies are made. The office must facilitate information flow throughout the organization; and the means to perform this task efficiently lie in automation — automation which takes into consideration the people-orientation of the office. |
