| Abstract: | The language in The Moon over the Lotus Pond is beautiful and the style is flexible.Under the theoretical guidance of Nida’s functional equivalence,the thesis tends to discuss the translatability of prose style from the lexical and syntactic aspects through Zhu Chunshen’s rendering.It points out that the semantic information and aesthetic feeling embodied in the source language can be conveyed to the fullest extent as long as the style of the original work is converted into English in a proper way. |
