The Analysis of Building China-ASEAN FTA

Facing the challenges of globalization,China and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)agree to set up a China-ASEAN FTA.This paper points out from the economic prospective that the FTA is a very successful means of prosperity,mutual trust and greater interdependence.Although the creation of China-ASEAN FTA may bring pressure on some industries in this region,it can speed up the economic development in member countries,generate massive employment,minimize barriers and deepen economic linkages between the parties.It can also increase intra-regional trade and investment,increase economic efficiency,create a larger market with greater opportunities and larger economies of scale for the businmesses of the parties,and enhance the attractiveness of the parties to capital and talent.With the setting up of China-ASEAN FTA,China and ASEAN will enjoy the benefits of globalization & regional economic integration,stabilize currencies within the area,promote intra economic development,and prevent financial risks.They will contribute to the prosperity of this area,and even the whole world.
