| Abstract: | Owing to farmland shortage, the demands of agricultural products in Japan count on import to a great extent. However, Japanese government has always provided high protection and subsidies for domestic agriculture over time, in order to maintain basic agricultural production bases, increase the rural income and promote rural economic development. |
