外商在华直接投资地区差异实证研究

1984-2003年外商直接投资的变化特点为总体分布不均衡,集中于东部地区;地区绝对差距扩大和相对差异缩小;相对差距主要是由于区内差距缩小引起的。区域政策改善了落后地区的投资环境,吸引了FDI,但是投资环境的其他方面,例如区位优势、市场容量、市场化程度等因素对FDI有更重要的影响。

Interdistrict Disparity of Foreign Direct Investment in China

This article examines interdistrict disparity of FDI in China during 1984-2003 by dividing the regional policies into three stages and four economic districts. The research shows that FDI takes on an imbalanced general distribution-mainly concentrated in the eastern region; regional absolute disparity increases while the relative disparity decreases. Relative disparity mainly results from the narrowing of the interdistrict disparity. Although regional policies help to improve the investment environment in hinterland and to attract FDI, other aspects of investr at environment, such as geographic advantages, market capacity, degree of marketization, will also exert indispensable influences.
