This paper analyzes the main points of high voltage test of power transformer from the aspects of preparation work,test conditions,test methods and test guarantee,and puts forward the fault treatment of power transformer high voltage test from the aspects of abnormal sound of equipment,equipment trip,gas protection failure and oil level drop quickly,aiming to provide reference for relevant people,control the influence caused by equipment failure in a controllable range,and lay a good foundation for the sustainable operation of power system.
