The Legal Behavioral Mode of the Middle Class and the Building of Harmonious Society

Built on the basis of socialist market economy, harmonious society is a social state aiming at the harmonious stability of social order, with its kernel being the distribution, negotiation and integration of social and interpersonal interest, realizing a law-ruled society of democracy, justice, freedom and equality. Harmonious society manifests, in form, the stability and sustainability in interpersonal relationship and that between man and nature, the behavioral standardization of the subjects and the security in property and civil psychology. Essentially, it the fair collocation and integration of social interest and the rational resolution of interest conflicts in the light of law and democracy to achieve a dynamic and comprehensive balance of social interest. The legal behavioral mode of the middle class features rationalization, equality, honesty, and law-abidingness and, therefore, can exert important functions in building a harmonious society and in mitigating and eliminating social conflicts.
