农业演进与20世纪上半叶的中国区域城市发展——以甘宁青地区为例

农业为城市发展之基础。20世纪上半叶甘宁青地区农业在政府的支持下得到较大增长，随之而来的商品性农业生产扩大化则推动了城市工商业的发展。但是，恶劣的自然环境、低下的农业生产水平以及城市对农村的掠夺式剥削都导致该地区农业发展相对迟滞，从而在很大程度上限制了城市自身持续发展的能力。这种既推动又制约的矛盾关系正是甘宁青地区贫困与落后的表现。

Agricultural Evolution and the Regional City Development of China in the First Half of the 20th Century——Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai for example

Agriculture is the foundation of the city development.Under support of the government, the a- gricuhure of Gansu,Ningxia and Qinghai achieved great growth in the first half of the 20th century.Along with that,the enlargement of the cash farming promoted the development of the city's industry and commerce.How- ever,the vile environment,the low agricultural production level and the predatory exploitation of the urban to rural all lead to the relative lagging of the agricultural development,which largely limits the ability of city's sustaining development.This kind of paradoxical relationship of not only promotion but also delay is the reflec- tion of Gansu,Ningxia and Qinghai's poverty and backwardness.
