Environmental logistics is a new pattern built up on a sustainable growth basis as well as on the basis of protecting ecological environment. It represents the direction and trend of the development of the logistics in the future. This article introduces the definition, features and the current situation of environmental logistics in China. It also analyzes the development of foreign environmental logistics then puts forward a suggestion of establishing and perfecting our Chinese environmental logistics policy and its theoretical system by using the advanced experience of other countries for reference.
