| Abstract: | Institution is a main contributor to economic development.Institutional Gapis one of the main reasons accounting for the gap between western and easternparts of China.Nowadays,there exists a significant institutional gap between western and eastern parts of China.Such an institutional gap restricts the economic development of the west and thus widens the gap.The key to bridging the gapbetween the west and the east is the acceleration of institutional innovation of the west. |
