香港区域竞争优劣势评析

文章探讨区域经济竞争力的基本概念及其构成,讨论香港的产业结构竞争力优势、区域运行机制竞争力优势、区域制度竞争力优势、区域文化竞争力优势及区域生态环境竞争力优势,分析制约香港经济发展的三大＂软肋＂：产业结构转型与相应的资源支撑不足、＂积极不干预主义＂政策尚未寻找到适应新时期经济发展要求的＂支点＂以及与珠江三角地区资源整合尚存一定的制度障碍,并指出增创香港经济发展新优势必须＂扬长＂与＂避短＂。

Comments on Advantages and Disadvantages of Regional Competition in Hong Kong

The paper discusses the basic concepts and the composition of the competitiveness of regional economy. Also, we will discuss the competitive advantages of Hong Kong＇s industrial structure, regional operation mechanism, regional institutional system, regional culture system, and regional ecological environment. In this paper, I will analyze three limitations which restricted the economic development of Hong Kong. The first restriction is the unmatched situation between industrial restructuring and lack of appropriate resources to support the industrial restructuring. Moreover, the ＂actively non-intervention ＂policy hasn＇t found the fulcrum that fits in with the requirements of economic development. That is the second restriction. Last one indicates that there are institutional barriers in the integration of resources of Pearl River Delta. In the end of the thesis, this thesis also points out that we must foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses when creating new opportunities and to find more advantages for Hong Kong＇s economic development.
