A Strategic Study of the Trade Co-operation Between Jiaxing and Shanghai During the Period of the Tenth Five-year-plan

The article retraces the history and current situation of the trade co operation between Jiaxing and Shanghai from the strategic angle of building the Trade Circle of Big Shanghai, and analyzes systematically the opportunity and challenge to the trade of Jiaxing on the background of building the Center of International Trade and joining in WTO. The authors point out we should make full use of the strong polarization reaction and radiance effects of Shanghai, and discuss a variety of methods of co operation between two cities. We should center on promoting the quality and brand of goods made in Jiaxing, and further expand the domain and depth of co operation; we should also break through the chain business of special permission, and carry out the innovation of organization, business and management in the trade of Jiaxing.
