Huawei's New Ambition

Private capital firm Bain Capital and China's top telecom equipment provider Huawei Technologies, have withdrawn their bid for US- based computer networking company 3Com Corp. They made this decision after failing to satisfy the concerns of a US government panel. 3Com's share price echoed this change by plummeting from US$5 after the acquire quote in 2007 to the present US$1.98, a decrease of over 50%.
