Analysis of Clinical Effect and Drug Mechanism of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder Combined with Fuoxetine Hydrochloride Capsules in the Treatment of Depression

Objective To explore the clinical effect of combined treatment with Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder and fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules in the treatment of patients with depression.Methods A total of 86 patients with depression admitted to Shenyang Mental Health Center from February 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a routine group and a test group,with 43 cases in each group.The conventional group(n=43)was treated with fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules,and the experimental group(n=43)was treated with Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder plus fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules.The treatment effect,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,cognitive function,glial-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)levels and the incidence of side effects were compared between the 2 groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 95.35%,which was significantly higher than that of the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.0737,P<0.05);the HAMD score of the experimental group was lower than that of the conventional group after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.4247,P<0.05);after treatment,the number of continuous responses,continuous errors,and total errors in the experimental group were better than those in the conventional group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ²=4.9615,P<0.05;χ²=5.1079,P<0.05;χ²=22.8202,P<0.05);the GDNF level in the experimental group after treatment was higher than that in the conventional group,the difference was statistically significant(t=6.0576,P<0.05);the total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 11.60%,compared with 18.60% of the routine group,the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=4.4405,P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Danzhi Xiaoyao Pills and fluoxetine hydrochloride in the treatment of depression has fewer side effects.It not only can control clinical symptoms,improve cognitive function,but also regulate neurotrophic factors and improve prognosis.
