Analysis of Therapeutic Effect of Somatostatin Combined with Omeprazole on Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of somatostatin combined with omeprazole in patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding.Methods A total of 100 patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding admitted to Panjin City People’s Hospital were selected as the research objects and were randomly divided into a control group(50 cases)and an observation group(50 cases)from April 20109 to April 2020.The control group used single omeprazole therapy,and the observation group was treated with somatostatin plus omeprazole therapy.Results Compared with the control group(88%),the total effective rate(94%)in the observation group was higher,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the rebleeding rate in the observation group was lower.The length of hospitalization was shorter.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination therapy of somatostatin and omeprazole in patients with upper gastrointestinal bleeding can achieve good results.It is helpful to improve the clinical effect of patients,with higher safety.
