INITIATE DISCUSSION ON DEVELOPING PRIORITY REGION FOR POTATO PRODUCTION IN GANSU PROVINCE

This paper briefly narrates the three priority regions for potato production in Gansu Province.They are mid-Gansu potato production base for producing high starch and vegetable usage type,Hexi potato production base for producing processing type,Longnan potato production base for producing early mature and vegetable usage type.It also expounds the clime scopes,resources priority,ecological condition,production level,farming system,applied variety of each potato production region with special characteristics,and prospects their development foreground.
