产权、激励与收入

尽管研究产权的文献从形式到内容都有很大的不同,但从总体上有其共同点,即强调产权、激励的行为人之间具有内在联系,这种联系与行为人对收入的预期和成本与收益的比较密切相关。由于产权的界定和保护是由国家来实施的,产权就与国家和个人的利益纠缠在一起,国家也由此而兴衰。现代国家变得聪明起来的一个重要选择不是与民争利而是对产权提供司法保护,其结果是个人从中获益,国家收入也相应提高。

Property Right, Stimulation and Income

Most of the literature on property right,though rather diversified in form and content,share one common feature-the internal link between the capable person stressing property right and stimulation.Such link is closely related to the expectation of the capable person for income and his comparison between cost and benefit.Since the definition and protection of property right is done by the government,property right is mingled with the interest of a country and an individual.One of the major reasons why modern countries are smarter is that they choose not to compete with the masses for interest,but to offer legal protection for property right.The result is that not only individuals will benefit but also the national revenue will increase accordingly.
