Labor Market Segmentation,Factor Allocation Efficiency and Agricultural Product Circulation Industry Growth--An Investigation of the Moderated Mediation Effects

In this paper, the path of labor market segmentation influencing the growth of the agricultural product circulation industry is explored by establishing a moderated mediation effect model. The research shows that the interindustry labor market segmentation and the interurban labor market segmentation both significantly inhibit the growth of the agricultural product circulation industry and exerts an impact through the regulatory effect of the above the mediating effects path. Labor market segmentation between industries maintains lower factor allocation efficiency of agricultural product circulation industry to a greater extent than that between urban and rural areas. Scale efficiency has a positive effect on factor allocation efficiency. However, the positive moderated mediation effects of protecting industrial growth are far less than the negative effect on the direct path by maintaining the backward industrial factor allocation through market segmentation, so it cannot reverse the direction of its significant restraining of industrial development. Therefore, it is an important practical path to promote the growth of the agricultural product circulation industry to design multi-level skill training platforms, balance the gap between urban and rural labor social welfare and expand the industrial scale.
