Sino-Russian Energy Cooperation: Status quo and Prospects

In order to maximize its national interests,Russia will gradually adjust its energy policy so as to develop a more flexible and active energy diplomacy.Sino-Russian strategic cooperation in the energy sector has enormous potential.To achieve mutual benefit the two countries should develop a long-term strategy which focuses on seeking common ground while reserving differences,and constantly improving the cooperation mechanism.
