Empirical Analysis of fiscal decentralization in China and the Supply of Local Infrastructure

In China,performance evaluation system of political achievement from top to bottom motivates local governments and organizations to pursue short-term economic increase,which lead to their high enthusiasm on the investments on infrastructure.The paper empirically analyzes this fact and elaborates that economic increase,urbanization and fiscal decentralization are the main factors that lead to the increase of local infrastructure expenditure,based on the models.
