关于建立中国—东盟自由贸易区的若干思考

发展与东盟国家的睦邻互信伙伴关系,建立稳定的周边环境,是中国外交以及对外经济发展的长期目标。建立中国—东盟自由贸易区则是中国参与区域经济合作进程中迈出的关键一步。当今世界经济发展的实践证明,在一定制度安排下的贸易集团化、区域化是促进地区发展、实现共同繁荣之路。欧盟、北美自由贸易区的经验证实了这一点。中国同东盟建立自由贸易区,作为一种制度安排,也必将进一步促进中国同东盟的关系和经济发展。

Reflections on the Establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area

It is the long-term goal of China's diplomacy to develop good partnership with the ASEAN so as to stabilize its periphery environment.To get involved in the regional economic cooperation it is one critical step for China to establish China-ASEAN free trade area.The current world economic development has demonstrated that trading groups under certain system arrangements is just the approach to promoting regional development and mutual prosperity.The experience of European Union and the North American Free Trade Area is the case in point.China-ASEAN free trade area,as a kind of system arrangement,will undoubtedly boost the mutual relationships and economic development.After pointing out the inevitability of establishing China-ASEAN free trade area,this paper analyzes in particular the prospects of this free trade area and proposes some countermeasures for the existing problems.
