加工贸易与地区收入差距

改革开放以来我国地区间收入差距有不断拉大的趋势,本文利用1997～2007年省际面板数据,研究了加工贸易与地区间收入差距之间的关系。实证结果证明:中西部地区与东部地区在加工贸易上的巨大差距是导致地区收入差距扩大的主要原因之一;加工贸易活动主要通过增加GDP和就业影响收入差距。可以通过向中西部地区转移加工产业,并建立若干集零部件生产和加工装配于一体的专业的出口加工区,实现零部件的本地化来缩小地区收入差距。

Processing Trade and Regional Income Disparity

China′s regional disparity has been widening since the reform and opening up, this paper uses the inter-provincial panel data from 1997 to 2007, studying the relationship between processing trade and regional income disparity, the empirical result shows that the huge disparity in processing trade between the mid-western region and the eastern region is one of the major reasons that lead to widening regional income gap, the processing trade affects the regional income disparity mainly through increasing the GDP and employment. To reduce the regional income disparity, we can transfer processing industry from the eastern region to the mid-western region and establish a number of professional export processing zones that combines parts production with processing and assembling in order to achieve the localization of parts production.
