Foreign direct investment in China has been a focal point concerned with in the academic world. This paper makes a systematic unclogging of the studies on this issue in 2003 in the respects of the changing of geographical location and the aggregation effect of foreign capital, the overflow effect and the mechanism for foreign capital, the influence of foreign capital on China's market structure and its investment strategy analysis, the effectiveness of China's foreign capital policy and its changing path, the game between foreign capital using and the coordination of industrial policies, and the establishment of investors' reexamination mechanism and the development of self supporting ability, and others.
