| Abstract: | In the paper, an iteration method is presented to calculate the steady flow field without separation of the stream with pieciwise linear continuous velocity profile past a circular cylinder. In each iterative step, streamlines of last step result are considered as equivorticity line to determine the new flow field. The iterative process is stopped when convergence is obtained. Several examples are given. The calculation shows that the method is efficient. |
