| 摘 要： | 经济全球化给世界带来了机遇和挑战。一方面,掌握语言工具就可以在全球化的进程中占领先机;另一方面,全球化越来越需要一专多能的复合型人才。本文分析了高职高专英语专业教学的现状,并讨论如何适应经济全球化改进英语教学方法和理念,培养学生扎实的专业基本功底,扩展知识面,打造复合型人才。

| Abstract: | Economic globalization has brought us both opportunities and challenges. This paper aims to analyze the present state of English major teaching and learning in higher vocational and academic colleges and discuss the ways to improve the teaching and learning methods to train the English major students’ professional skills and meet the demands for inter-disciplinary talents. |
