摘    要:本文对体育旅游市场发展现状进行透视,认为这一旅游形式在当前我国旅游业发展中占有重要地位,进而对体育旅游动机进行分析,并将体育旅游市场划分为休闲、健身、观战、刺激、竞技和其他等细分市场,分析了这些细分市场具有潜力大、大众性强、市场面广、年轻化和前景好等特征,最后,阐述了体育旅游产品的特点和对旅游业发展的作用,并提出了体育旅游产品开发的对策。

Abstract:This paper argues that sports tourism is playing an important role in the ongoing development of tourism industry in China following an in depth analysis of its market status. The paper further explores the various motivations behind sports tourism and the market is subdivided accordingly into sectors catering to different demands such as leisure killing, fitness keeping, game watching, thrill seeking and feat competing. All these sectors are characterized as possessing high potential and wide marketing possibilities, enjoying tremendous popularity especially among young people and promising future development. The paper also expounds features of sports tourism products and their functions for the development of tourism industry. Solutions for developing the product line are put forward for consideration.
