An Elementary Introduction to Supply Chain Management

The concept of supply chain management is rather new. From a different angle, the supply chain management views the commodity production in enterprises, from raw material supply through production organization to marketing, as one piece of supply chain. This paper briefly introduces its fundamental concept and property classification, makes a preliminary analysis to its managing strategy and points out that the products with different properties must have different type of supply chain and the suitable supply chain is very important to enterprises.
