思维方式差异对英汉习语构成与互译的影响

On the Influence of the Differences of Thinking Modes on the Forming of Idioms and its Translation

Due to the influences of ecological environment and social history,both nations of Chinese and English lay particular emphasis on thinking modes differently.Chinese pay special attention to concrete,comprehensive,and subjective thinking,while Westerners prefer thinking abstractly,analytically,objectively and inversely,which results in the different expressions in both languages.In translation,this factor should be taken into account to make the translation appropriate.
