The Accession of Russian Federation:History,Concessions and the Opportunities for China

By reviewing the long and complex history of Russia’s WTO accession,this article reveals a complicated picture of international political and economic reality.Based on the public available WTO documents,this article has made a preliminary appraisal on Russia’s concession and commitments on trade in goods and services,and intellectual right protection.Although these concessions are mainly negotiated by United States and European Union,they would nevertheless protect China’s export interest in manufacture sector and import interest in raw material.
