级配碎石基层是一种柔性路面结构层,属于无结合料材料,是由各占一定比例的粗、细碎石集料和石粉,与颗粒组成符合密实级配的混合料。其用作路面结构基层,具有渗透性好、易施工、适应性强的特点,同时,也存在强度、刚度低的缺点,而且排水不好很容易丧失稳定性,会造成路面变形及疲劳损坏。但是与半刚性基层相比,级配碎石用作“倒装结构”的复合式路面时,具有抗反射裂缝强的优点。

Gradation gravel base is a kind of flexible pavement structure layer,which belongs to the non-binding material,is composed of coarse and fine gravel aggregate and stone powder,which each occupies a certain proportion,and the particles constitute a mixture in accordance with the dense gradation.It is used as pavement structural base,with good permeability,easy construction,strong adaptability.At the same time,it also has the shortcomings of low strength and stiffness,and poor drainage is easy to lose stability,will cause pavement deformation and fatigue damage.However,compared with the semi-rigid base,graded gravel has the advantage of strong anti-reflection crack when used as the composite pavement withinverted structure.
