| 摘 要： | 经济发展与生态环境紧密联系,环境污染已成为经济发展过程中的一个重要问题。随着国际资本流动的加速,外商直接投资(FDI)与环境可持续发展的潜在关系也开始显现出来,FDI对东道国环境的影响成为学术界十分关注的热点问题。本文利用中国112座重点城市、2001～2006年度的面板数据,研究了FDI对我国整体以及不同区域的环境影响。结果证实了FDI的增加对我国环境确实产生了负面的影响,并进一步证实,这种负面影响在地域上呈现东低西高的梯度特征。文章在此基础上提出了相关的政策建议。
