For many years, there has existed a faulty idea that ＂foreign language talents are translation talents and learning a foreign language well could be a good translator. ＂ However ,this is not the case. The establishment of MTI has removed the faulty idea of the people about learning a foreign language. The cultivation of MTI is supposed to focus on the translation practice together with specialized features to cultivate translation talents with better translation abilities and a good command of specialties.
