本体论与方法论相统一的中庸思想的现代解读

中庸是本体论与方法论的统一。“诚”是哲学本体论意义上的“中庸”达到“与天地参”的境界的要求。从本体论意义上讲，要实现“中庸”就需要“正己”，需要“诚之”，“诚”的终极目标仍然直抵“极高明而道中庸”这个最高的哲学境界。“过犹不及”是“中庸”思想的一般方法论。在实际的操作中要实现“中庸”即“执两用中”离不开“权”，即依据时间、地点、事物存在与发展的客观条件与态势来审时度势，权衡轻重与利弊。
