THE WELLDOING PANTS
Abstract:For the general public, a pant is just a basic daily necessity, as you can never wear it outside like the Superman. The basic attribute of pants is comfort and privacy, and what else? A British company named "Pants to Poverty" tells the consumers that even a pant can be of great significances, and fashion can be a beautiful tool to change the world. It is the hope of Ben Ramsden, founder of Pants to Poverty, to use an innovative business mode to help eliminate poverty and assist charities. He describes himself as a "pant entrepreneur" who is doing business in a "simple, happy and sexy" way, and he says that the company will become the "Calvin Klein in poverty alleviation funds, but will do better than them". Key points to the innovation of Pants to Poverty include: use "pant bond" to finance from fans who approve of the company’s mission and value; implement the idea of social responsibility into every link of the value chain of a pant; launch volunteer activities to effectively interact with the society, and invite people globally to engage in the design, production, marketing and sale links of the company.
