| 摘 要： | 西方近代文学作品倾向以感伤的笔触表现死亡,而西方现代文学作品倾向以更荒谬的手法表现死亡,两种不同的倾向代表着当时不同的社会背景及精神取向,而后者更体现人类精神上的日臻成熟.

| Abstract: | Western literature in 18th and 19th century tends to interpret "death" in a sentimental way,while the modern literature tends to interpret "death" in an absurd way. Two different tendencies have their different social background and spiritual orientation,but the latter in a better sense embodies Man's maturity in spiritual world. |
